JLR production is demanding another $ 4 billion in the emergency fund as restarted

JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) is searching for an additional £ 2 billion ($ A4.08BN) on top of a British government-supported £ 1.5BN ($ A3.06BN) loan after a cyber attack after a cyber attack.

With the temporary shutdown of four plants in the UK, Slovakia, Brazil and JLR factories in India were also forced to prevent cars from making cars as the company was struggling with a decline from cyber attacks.

While Jaguar was not being built – as the historic British brand planned its rebirth in 2026 as an upmarket rival for Bentley and Porsche – the production of all land rover models has been prevented.

The Land Rover Defender is built in Slovakia, while the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque are produced in Solihul and Helwood plants in the UK respectively.

JLR is expected to produce its name ‘Baby Defender’ so far at its Mercyside plant in the UK since 2027.
