Zeekar Australia’s management director says possible plans to launch Linak & Company The brand here is not yet stack, but the linac and co -models may still end in local showrooms wearing zeekr badges.

While both Zeekr and Lynk & Co are part of the Geary Group, including Volvo, Polstar, Smart, Lotus and other brands, Zeekr captured Links & Company earlier this year, and its local office is considering whether the mark should be brought down as a stand-alone brand here.

Speaking at the recent launch of the new 7X mid-size electric SUV, ZeekR Australia Managing Director Frank Lee told Carkespert This decision has not been made on whether the Links & Company brand has to be launched here – but he indicated that his priority is.

“My personal opinion is that it doesn’t really matter to a brand with Zeekr name … [which] Brings in two or three models, and suddenly we have to make another … bring another new brand, and bring one or two models … which doesn’t really matter much, “Mr. Lee said.

It pays somewhat for the launch of Links End in Australia to the launch of the brand (but not its model), but in the moderate to medium period, but perhaps not permanently.

“At this time we are all thinking about the Zeekr model, Lynk & CO model,” said Mr. Lee.

“But for this point, I need to report to the headquarters and rethink the vision as well.”

It seems that this decision has not been officially taken to take which direction to take, but the intentions of Zeekr’s local partition seem loud and clear.

Zeekr arrived in Australia later last year, but was formed in 2021, making it five years younger than Linak & Co., but a reorganization within the Gealya group noticed that Zeekr took 51 percent stake in the old Chinese brand in February 2025.
